TJ & Jen

So TJ and I have been married just over a year. We were married in the Manti Temple and have loved the joy of having a temple marriage. The first year has been full of ups and downs, and craziness, but I wouldnt have wanted to spend it with anyone else! Despite our age differnce, we make it work, and we deeply love each other, thanks babe for ALL you do! You amaze me daily!

Ford's Poem

In the darkest hour of the night,
The brightest of men will stand to fight.
They are trained to stand for freedom,
hoping to make it to the heavenly kingdom.
They crawl threw the dirt, mud and sand,
they fight in new and native land.
Shock and Awe is the name of the game,
they will not do this for the fame.
The ground shakes and the earth rubmles,
flames are everywhere as a building crumbles.
The crack of a gun, the explosion of a grenade,
he sihes he was home, drinking sweet lemonade.
The Beat of a drum, a hole in the ground,
they stand and salute, to the unpleasant sound.
They stand at attention, to the 21 gun salute,
They stand and listen as the guns begin to shoot.
They lost there man during the fight.
He would not have regretted this, he knew it was right.
This is the cost that the man and women have to pay,
even if they don't make it home at the end of the day.
Respect them and treat them with the best of your might,
because these are the ones that go to the fight.
And in the darkest hour...of the night,
You will see who is willing, to stand for what is RIGHT!

Danika's last day at work. This was another hard day for me. Not only was she moving I lost her working with me too...so sad! She is truly amazing!

Things that have happened recently

Danika graduated from high school! Who would have thought she was old enough to do that...I sure didnt. Right after graduation she moved to St George, got her own place and started a new job, she starts school soon! She has a great head on her shoulders, she stands for so much and she is amazing! She has morals and values she holds so dear to her. I am so blessed to be her mother!

Starting Today!

Well I see so many people blogging I decided it was time our family had a blog! I am not sure how often I can update it, but I am going to do my very best!

Life has really taken us for a spin! Danika is graduated and living in St George it is so crazy me to even think about. I am proud of her, she is doing such good things! Ford is driving and working and taking care of business! He is so great and wonderful! TJ is home finally after a long stay in Arizona and we are so happy he is back! He starts back to school on the 30th of this month and I am so proud of the man he is! I am working and that is a handful of fun!

Ford got back from scout camp last night or should I say this morning around 1am and he has a nice little mark on his face, looks like he was attacked by something, come to find out a clay pigeon went crazy and hit him in the face and yep it shattered on his cheek, I will post a pic soon!

Well off to do my nightly stuff, clean and cook for the family!
